John Libby is a full-time litigator serving the firm’s clients across Northwest Florida. John represents a number of individuals and organizations in a wide range of matters including commercial landlord-tenant proceedings, contract and shareholder disputes, and real property litigation.
A proud native of Okaloosa County, John received his undergraduate and law degree (with honors) from Florida State University, before returning home to practice. In addition to earning academic honors, John volunteered his time to assist needy military veterans and was recognized for his Distinguished Pro Bono Service. Prior to joining AnchorsGordon, John served as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael C. Overstreet, Circuit Judge in the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit in Panama City. He also served as a law clerk for the Florida Office of the Attorney General, where he assisted in both federal and state civil litigation matters.
John is a member of the Okaloosa Bar Association, and is a board member of the non-profit Emerald Coast Science Center in Fort Walton Beach. In his spare time, John enjoys cooking and exploring new foods/restaurants, as well as travelling, golfing, camping, hiking, and other outdoor activities.
John, his wife Christina, and their daughter enjoy living on the Emerald Coast and are happy to call Niceville home.
